C21 TRAINING THEIR NETWORK FOR GREATER SUCESS

Training and development have always been a core focus at Century 21. In June this year, C21 launched a new monthly training program which aimed to further develop the skills within the network at all levels and disciplines.

Three core subjects were focussed on, with a leading expert brought in for each stream:

  • Leadership With Kylie Walsh
  • Property Management With Lauren Kirk
  • Sales With Matt Shalhoub

Andy Reid Head of Training for the group shared how resoundingly positive the feedback on the new training program has been from the network, during what has been a challenging year for the industry.

Mr Reid said, "2021 has been tumultuous, with the industry facing many challenges and changes from COVID-19 restrictions to changing legislation. Our training & education programs at C21 has been geared towards further developing the skills within our network to ensure they can adapt to the ever-changing real estate environment, setting them on a path towards greater success."

Leadership with Kylie Walsh took a macro-look at business operations and team collaboration, providing mindset, frameworks and methodology that have helped multiple businesses across the networks. Covering topics such as Business Efficiency, Recruitment Strategies, and Kylie's '20 C's Of Leadership', the content has been incredibly well-received and implemented.

On the sessions Mr Reid said, "Kylie's communication style is educated and sophisticated, though her knowledge was presented so simply that it has been a smash hit for both established, new and up & coming leaders in the organisation."

Describing the property management training, Mr Reid continued, "Property Management with Lauren Kirk has been tremendously refreshing! The energy that Lauren brings has been such a good remedy for a lot of the angst held in property management due to the tremendous challenges that they have faced. Topics such as effective communication & conflict resolution, protecting fees and time management are only a handful of the many aspects that Lauren has covered."

The sales workshops with Matt Shalhoub took a different role approach with sales teams Mr Reid explain, "In order to promote greater interest and interaction, instead of talking at sales people we provided open Q&A's around topics such as Prospecting Procrastination, Objection Handling and Managing Databases."

As well as these 3 insightful programs, the brand implemented a 'Live Lunch' series, which took the form of live informal discussions between Andy Reid Head of Training, James Bell C21 CEO and a number of fantastic guests such as Tom Panos and Jet Xavier. This platform gave the networks open access to true leaders in the industry.

In addition, the introduction of the incredibly successful podcast Recharge has provided the C21 network with over 50 episodes of amazing content so that team members & leaders can learn 'on the go'.

This new training programs and initiatives have complemented the extensive range of resources already available, including the interactive online learning platform, C21 University.
